Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee seeks better health care service The Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee (CGEWCC), Mumbai has sought an enhancement of monitoring limits of heads of department for sanctioning medical bills. It wants the present limits of of Rs. two lakh to be increased to Rs. five lakh. The Committee has also sought to provide CGHS facilities in the areas which have 800 or more CGHS beneficiaries in an around Mumbai. Source: PIB
