Subject-Revision of pension of pre-2007 Pensioners/Family Pensioners of BSNL.
Sir,
I am directed to say that the revision of pension cases of pre-2007 pensioners/family pensioners are to be processed/settled in a time bound manner in accordance with the DoT Office Memorandum No. 40-47/2008-Pen (T)-Vol.III dated 15.03.2011 further endorsed by us vide our circular No. 40-06/2011-Pen (B) dated 04.04.2011. Whereas, it has been brought to our notice by various Pensioner’s Associations that some administrative offices of BSNL who are handling pension cases hay not yet forwarded pension revision papers to the concerned CCA for settlement of revision of pension.
It is therefore, requested, that suitable instructions to all SSA Heads may kindly he issued to ensure that the calculation of revised pension due to the BSNL IDA pensioners who retired before 01-01-2007 is forwarded to the CCA concerned to facilitate settlement of their revised pension without any further delay. It is also requested that you may kindly monitor the progress o these cases personally and intimate the status pertaining to your circle to this office from time to
time.
This may kindly be treated as MOST IMMEDIATE.
