Sub: Pay fixation in case of Group C & D officials absorbed in BSNL who have opted for IDA pay scale from the date of promotion after 01-10-2000- regarding
Ref: This office Circular No 17. vide Endorsement No. 01-05/2004-PAT(BSNL) Pt. II dated 09-12-2010.
The facility as per BSNL order No 1-5/2004-PAT(B) dated 30-06-2004 to furnish option to retain the CDA pay scale till the date of regular promotion or retirement vide para-4 of DOP&PW OM No. 4/18/87-P&PW(D) dated 05-07-1989 mentioned in the Presidential Order issued in connection with the absorption in BSNL was available to the Executives
2. Now, it has been decided with the approval of the competent authority that the methodology of provisional pay fixation as communicated by DOT vide letter No 2-49(3)/2009-PAT dated 04-11-2010 in terms of BSNL letter No 1-37/2004-PAT(B) dated 24-09-2004 may also be allowed to absorbed Non-executives who have already given request to switch over to IDA pay scales from the date of regular promotion / retirement whichever is earlier, subject to outcome of final decision of DOT.
