Diwali Muhurat 2012: Lakshmi Pooja & Dhanteras muhurats information with time & date
Diwali, the festival of lights, is the most auspicious and most awaited festival for people of all religion across the world. Diwali is a newyear for Gujarati’s. It brings joy and happiness to everyone's life. This is not just one festival but it is series of festivals for 5 days like Dhanteras, Kali Choudas (Naraka Chaturdashi), Diwali (Deepavali), New Year and Bhai Dooj. There are various God and Godess pujas that are conducted during this period. Indian business communities begin their financial year on Dhanteras and do worship of Lakshmi and Ganesha. People believe that Lakshmi Pooja is good for wealth and Ganesha worship is for keeping the family free from obstacles and evils throughout the year. Businessmen and shopkeeper closes old account books and open new account books on the Deepavali day. This year Diwali is on 13th November 2012.
