Grant of dearness allowance to state government employees of Rajasthan The Finance Department of Rajasthan Government has decided to issue additional Dearness allowance to its employees from 1.1.2012. Memorandum has been published by the Finance Department regarding the subject of granting dearness allowance, the existing rate of Dearness allowance payable to the State Government employees, drawing in Rajasthan Civil Services (Revised pay) Rules, 2008, under Finance Department order No.F.6(1)FD(Rules)/2008 dated 15.09.2011 shall be revised from 58% to 65% with effect from 01.01.2012. The order said, the amount of increase in DA for the period from 1.1.2012 to 31.3.2012 shall be credited to the General Provident Fund account of the respective employees and cash payment shall be admissible from 1.4.12 i.e. salary for the month of April, 2012 payable on 1.5.12 and the arrear of DA from 1.1.12 to 31.3.12 to the employees recruited to the Civil Services on or after 1.1.2004 and who are governed by Contributory Pension Scheme, shall be paid in cash.
