ಹಾಲು ಬೆಳದಿಂಗಲಿ ನೀ ನಡೆದು ಬರುವಾಗ 

ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವೇ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ

ನಿನಗೂ  ಬೆಳದಿಂಗಳಿಗೂ

ರವಿ ಕಿರಣ ಸೋಕಿ ಬಾಡಿತು ಬೆಳದಿಂಗಳು

ರವಿ ಕಿರಣ ಸೋಕಿ ಹೊಳೆಯಿತು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೊಗವು

ನಿನ್ನ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲು  ನಾನು ಓಡೋಡಿ ಬರುವಾಗ

ತಡೆದನು ನನ್ನನು ಇಂದ್ರ ಅವಳು ನನ್ನವಳೆಂದು

ಚಂದ್ರನೋಲಗದ  ಅಪೂರ್ವ ಸುಂದರಿಯೆಂದು

ಆ ಅಪರೂಪದ ಬೊಂಬೆ ನೀನೆ ಏನು ?

ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತಿರುವೆ ನಾನು
